Saturday #49-February 13, 2010

Jennifer and I went snowshoeing at the Wasatch Mountain State Park up near Heber. We rented snowshoes and then hit the 3 mile long Visitor Center Loop.

1200+ calorie burning activity.

Look at those awesome sunglasses!

I had so much fun snowshoeing last weekend. Okay, saying that may be a perspective thing. I'm not sure I would have described the hike up the hill as "fun" while we were in the moment. But, looking back, I can definitely say it was fun! I'm looking forward to going again soon!

Hooray for big plastic shoes that walk on snow!

I agree, this was very fun! In fact, is it safe to compare this "funness" to riding a Disneyland ride? Yep, even Splash Mountain... that's how much fun I had.

I need to know if the final happy picture was pre 1200+ or post. After I work out, I am not that chipper so if it is after I need to know the secret.

Amy! I love seeing all your fun Saturdays! THe pictures are great. I'll bet it gets you going and doing more interesting things than you would do otherwise. I think I should do it too, instead of just cleaning the garage and stuff on Saturday!

Snowshoeing! What a great activity!
